Through the generosity of Craig and Jennifer Zobelein, the music department at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks now has a Rodgers two-manual practice organ. At the center of the organ program, headed by Dr. Kyle Johnson, is a beautiful Steiner-Reck tracker pipe organ in the chapel. However, the busy chapel schedule does not allow adequate time and access for organ practice. The new practice organ now provides students in the the growing organ program an abundance of practice time.
The Rodgers model 558 makes for a versatile practice instrument, providing a great variety of tonal options, easily adapting to organ repertoire of any period and style.
